A cabin on a working ranch
Magpie is 13 miles from downtown Sheridan, with views across the ranch toward the Bighorn Mountains. Both queen bedrooms are on the main level, along with the kitchen, living area and bathroom. The loft is not part of the guest space and cannot be accessed.
The kitchen is stocked for cooking. There’s a walk-in shower, copper sink and towels in the bathroom; Starlink internet and a streaming TV inside. A mini split provides heating and cooling, and there’s a propane fireplace. The porch has seating for four and a grill.
What you may see outside
Turkeys and grouse move through the ranch during the day. Deer tend to appear in the morning and evening, while horses and cattle graze the hillsides. Wildlife comes and goes, so no particular sighting is guaranteed.
This is an active ranch. Enjoy the views and the outdoor areas open to guests, but please don’t approach or feed the animals. If you’re unsure where you may walk, ask us.

Ranch setting, with Sheridan nearby
The cabin is about 13 miles from downtown Sheridan. Plan to drive for restaurants, groceries and most activities. All-wheel or four-wheel drive is recommended in colder months.
There is room to park up to four cars. Smaller trailers may be possible, but maneuvering a trailer here can be cumbersome. Tell us its size before booking so we can confirm whether it will fit.

Sleeping layout and loft
Four guests sleep in two queen bedrooms on the main level. The loft is not accessible to guests and is not included in the sleeping capacity.
Pets and ranch animals
Pets are welcome with no set number limit. The pet fee is $75 once per stay. Keep pets supervised and away from horses, cattle and other ranch animals; do not approach or feed the livestock.
Parking and trailers
Parking is available for up to four cars. Only smaller trailers may be suitable, and turning or parking one can be difficult. Please ask before bringing a trailer.
Kitchen and weather
The kitchen is equipped for cooking but has no dishwasher. The cabin has mini split heating and cooling plus a propane fireplace. In colder months, all-wheel or four-wheel drive is recommended.
Fees, payment and cancellation
Fees and minimum stay
The cleaning fee is $150 per stay. Pets are welcome with a $75 fee once per stay. Minimum stays vary by date and season. Enter your dates and review the full price in checkout.
Payment schedule
50% is due when you book. The remaining 50% is automatically charged 14 days before arrival. For bookings made closer to arrival, check the payment schedule shown in checkout.
Cancellations
Cancellations 30 or more days before arrival are refundable. Cancellations 15–29 days before arrival are also refundable; contact us so we can process the refund manually. At 14 days or fewer before arrival, the booking is nonrefundable.
