Good to Know
Upper-level unit with a basement apartment below. Sound mitigation includes double sheetrock and soundproof insulation. Up to 2 pets welcome with a $35 pet cleaning fee — please don't leave pets unattended.
Two RH Atlantic Coupe chairs flank the front door — leather and chrome, modeled after the 1938 Bugatti, discontinued and genuinely rare. They set the tone for everything inside: the kind of place where someone made considered choices and didn't feel the need to explain them.
The walls are corduroy cherry wood paneling, installed by the shop class teacher who designed the house in the 1950s. It should feel dated. It doesn't. It feels like someone discovered it and left it exactly right.
Walk five minutes to Java Moon on Main Street, get a breakfast sandwich, then cut back through Whitney Commons on the way home. Depending on the day there's a farmers market, a fundraiser, or just kids on the splash pad. Follow it into Kendrick Park, where in summer the Sheridan Recreation District runs an ice cream stand staffed by high schoolers working their first job. This is the part of Sheridan that doesn't end up in travel guides. The park to the left, the library straight ahead — and inside the library, tucked in the back, is the Wyoming Room. Ask them to show you Ernest Hemingway's luggage tags.
Close enough to walk to everything. Far enough that downtown's energy stays where you left it.

Tyler's place was easy to find based on the clear instructions provided. It's located a few short blocks from the Main Street of Sheridan where you can find kitschy shops, great restaurants, and true "Cowboy" bars. The home provided plenty of space for ourselves plus our three dogs and was conveniently located close to the park. The bed and linens were very comfortable and provided multiple nights of sound sleep. This place is very reasonably priced for a pet friendly listing nestled in the beautiful Big Horn mountains. Finally, this was probably the cleanest AirBnB property I've ever stayed at. Tyler is a friendly host and did his best to ensure we felt right at home during our stay.

We love staying here — it's our home away from home when we come to visit family. The location is epic. We love being able to walk to the gorgeous park day and night. Main Street is fabulously walkable and close to the house. Tyler and team couldn't be more responsive. It's important to them that we enjoy being here, and we feel it. Aloha from Hawaii.
