A main-floor stay near Main Street
You have the main floor to yourselves, with a separate bedroom, living room, full kitchen and bathroom. The Rambler is a separate apartment in the basement below. The yard is shared.
The kitchen has blue cabinets, wood countertops and locally roasted coffee. There’s a queen bed in the bedroom, a tub and shower in the bathroom, and a couch, streaming TV and Nintendo in the living room.
A few details we kept
The shop teacher who designed the house in the 1950s installed the corduroy cherry paneling. It’s still here. The two RH Atlantic Coupe chairs by the front door bring leather and chrome into the room without covering up much of the wood.
Guests often mention the design, the attention to detail and being able to walk downtown. One returning guest described it as their “home away from home” when visiting family.

Walking into downtown Sheridan
Main Street is about five minutes away on foot. Whitney Commons is nearby, and The Hub on Smith is a few doors away. You can walk to downtown restaurants and shops, then leave the car in the driveway for the evening.
For breakfast, we like the front window at P.O. News if it’s available. King’s Saddlery and the Don King Museum are worth allowing some time for while you’re downtown. Our Sheridan guide has more of the places we recommend.

Steps and layout
Four steps lead to either the front or back entrance. The apartment is on the main floor, with a separate basement apartment below. It sleeps two in one queen bedroom.
Dogs and the shared yard
Up to two dogs are welcome. The $75 pet fee is charged once per stay. Please don’t leave dogs unattended. The yard is shared with The Rambler and is not fenced.
Parking and neighborhood noise
The driveway has room for three to four vehicles. Double sheetrock and soundproof insulation help reduce sound between the apartments. There is occasional traffic on the road toward the nearby YMCA.
Arrival and help during your stay
We send arrival information seven days before your stay. Tyler and the team are available by phone or text if you need anything.
Fees, payment and cancellation
Fees and minimum stay
The cleaning fee is $75 per stay. If you bring dogs, the pet fee is an additional $75 per stay for up to two dogs. Minimum stays vary by date and season. Enter your dates and review the full price in checkout.
Payment schedule
50% is due when you book. The remaining 50% is automatically charged 14 days before arrival. For bookings made closer to arrival, check the payment schedule shown in checkout.
Cancellations
Cancellations 30 or more days before arrival are refundable. Cancellations 15–29 days before arrival are also refundable; contact us so we can process the refund manually. At 14 days or fewer before arrival, the booking is nonrefundable.

Tyler's place was easy to find based on the clear instructions provided. It's located a few short blocks from the Main Street of Sheridan where you can find kitschy shops, great restaurants, and true "Cowboy" bars. The home provided plenty of space for ourselves plus our three dogs and was conveniently located close to the park. The bed and linens were very comfortable and provided multiple nights of sound sleep. This place is very reasonably priced for a pet friendly listing nestled in the beautiful Big Horn mountains. Finally, this was probably the cleanest AirBnB property I've ever stayed at. Tyler is a friendly host and did his best to ensure we felt right at home during our stay.
We love staying here — it's our home away from home when we come to visit family. The location is epic. We love being able to walk to the gorgeous park day and night. Main Street is fabulously walkable and close to the house. Tyler and team couldn't be more responsive. It's important to them that we enjoy being here, and we feel it. Aloha from Hawaii.
